What would an average repair cost?

Most small plumbing jobs can be repaired within the hour which would normally be £45. With bigger repairs we will always give you a cost before we proceed.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the Manchester and the surrounding areas, including Stockport.

Are your website images your own?

Yes the images you see are of previous work that we haves carried out.

What guarantees can i expect?

We will cover any of our work for 12 months. Most manufacturers have a 12 month if not longer periods of warranty on parts too.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cheque, BACs and cash payment method and we will always issue you with an invoice.

Are you VAT registered?

Yes we are a vat registered business and charge at the current 20% vat rate

Why do i need to service my boiler or gas appliance?

It’s important to keep up an annual service on your boiler / fire for safety and efficiency. You should only call us or another Gas Safe Registered business to carry out this work

Can you charge me labour only, if i have the material/parts required?

Yes we will be happy to just charge you on a labour only basis. If we don’t feel that the materials/parts supplied are adequate, then we can consult with you.

Are MAK engineers and their work insured?

Do MAK have any accreditations?

City and guilds craft and advanced craft, Gas Safe Registered, CITB water (G3 unvented hot water) Worcester Accredited installer

As a landlord, do i need a landlord's gas safety certificate?

If you rent out property as a landlord, then you are responsible for ensuring that all gas fittings and flues are maintained in good order, and that gas appliances and flues are checked for safety every 12 months.

You must keep a record of all safety checks for at least two years and issue it to existing tenants and to any new tenants before they move in.
